Scary Cinema Movie?

so for english i need to create a scary picture book. so far this is my plot:

the local cinema re-opens in a long time. about 40 yrs ago a guy who worked there was killed by a murderer loose in the town. his spirit went insane and angry and he wants to kill people. thats how it closed down- weird things happened there

so anyway, now its re-opened and this guy who is in love with movies (wants to be a director when he grows up) goes to watch one there. his friends tell him not to but he goes so they go with him. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

p.s. its gotta b scary, can sum1 involve blood? and the ghost has to come back and freak them out. it would b great if they could survive thro it.

p.p.s in the story when they are buying the tickets and food- the guy at the counter IS THE GHOST (i put that in), so now im up to the part where the guys are in the theatre when the movie is about to begin.

Perhaps make it questionable as to whether the ghost is a real person, or whether he's the murderer. In any account, characters, disappear, and later are discovered murdered. (That seemed to work in House Of Wax). Make sure the violence is justified, that the premise is believable, and build your suspense. The biggest complaint I hear about horror movies is the audience are not made to identify and care for the leading characters, so they don't care what happens to them. Perhaps make it that the film playing is a horror film, too, and the ghost has written the script. The suspense is in wondering what the cinema patrons' fate will be, and what the ghost has planned for them.

Gosh thats a good scary story. I think you should do something like the ghost is a character in the movie or that during the movie the ghost pops up on the screen and bad things happen.
